Adèle de Dombasle

I think this is a photograph of my great great great grandmother, Gabrielle Adelaide Mathieu de Dombasle, Adèle de Dombasle was an illustrator with an avid interest in seeing parts of the world not yet overcome by industrialization. She journeyed to the Pacific and through the Americas with explorer Edmond Ginoux de la Coche in 1847.
